Family Home Evening

The fun we have for Family Home Evening. Ralyn finally got her hands in the pumpkin. This is always a good way to have fun.

Haunted House

Colin, Eden, and I went to a haunted house event (FEARFEST) with some friends. we couldn't take pictures in the place, but here are some outside before entering.

Homecoming Parade and Top 5%

Here are pictures of Colin and Eden in the Homecoming Parade. Also a picture of Colin with the other Sophomores who are part of the Top 5% of his class.

Colin in the band

Here is a picture of Colin at the football game. Unfortunately after this picture was taken it started to rain and lightening so we left early. Also Colin has auditioned for the school musical "MULAN". He has the part of Yao, the short tough guy with the black eye.

Here are a bunch of pictures that include Ralyn swimming, a Picture of the day Jaron left Moberly for BYU, a picture of Eden and her friends at the Nauvoo temple on Sept 4 for a youth baptism trip, and a picture of Ralyn and Eden on Bikes. All in all our kids are doing ok. Jaron has now survived the first week at BYU and is still able to send email to us, so we know that he is alive.

Eden's First Girls Camp

Jon was able to goto girls camp with Eden last week. Jon got to spend the week in an RV with the priesthood while the girls slept in the rain. Eden made some new friends and had fun. As you can see Eden had fun with the BB guns and is a good shot, even if she has not shot before. Other girls were all over the place, but Eden put them all close.

Jaron Graduates from Moberly High School

Well It seems unreal, but Jaron has graduated from High School. Next up is BYU and a mission.

Alot going on

These are pictures of Colin at his Concert Band concert on May 4.

Then Jaron had his awards ceremony for completing his MATC CIS program (for computers) on May 6.

The last picture is of our family with Grandpa Martin Thompson and his brother Doug. This was on May 9 when Jaron was ordained an Elder.

Eden and Colin Perform

Friday night we had a ward variety show. Eden and her friends sang "We all live in a yellow submarine." They had a lot of fun. Then on Saturday Colin had his piano recital. He played majestic mountain.

You never know what lurks in the grass

While mowing the lawn I mowed over these baby bunnies. fortunately I went over them and not through them. These all must only be a day or so old. Ralyn and Colin had fun with them. They sure are squeeky.

Colin plays at jazz band concert

Tuesday April 20 was the high school jazz band concert. Colin was able to participate. He is one of two keyboardists to play. Also Colin had a birthday on April 15 (tax day) and is now 15.

Tennis for Jaron

Jaron is out having fun playing tennis for Moberly High School. Jaron is the schools number one player. Jaron is busy with tennis most nights. Jaron is also getting ready to graduate from high school next month. Naomi's Dad is going to come out for his graduation. The weekend of 16th of May will be busy as Jaron Graduates, we have stake conference (Jaron will be sustained to become an Elder), and Jaron has districts for tennis.

A lot going on

Well Jaron had a birthday and is now 18. It was kind of anticlimatic as we have been busy. Jaron is in tennis everyday and the matches start tonight. Colin has been having band festivals with the concert band (he plays sax) in the next week or so he has jazz band competitions. Eden is also in middle school band (she plays trumpet). Naomi just had a primary activity day this past weekend. Anyway we are hoping things calm down, but it doesn't look like it as tennis continues, Colin's eagle scout project gets underway, then Jaron graduates. Eden will turn twelve and goes to girls camp. And we are in the midst of getting Jaron's dorm room and meal plans at BYU. Anyway as things progress we will post pictures as we have them. the pictures from Colins band concert at the high school aren't the greatest so we aren't posting them.

Colin receives award for top 10% at school.

Colin was part of the top 10% banquet on thurday night Mar 4. We are all proud of Colin.

Jaron gets his third (silver) palm

Jaron received his third palm last night. We are all very proud of Jaron. He also received notice of his acceptance to BYU in Provo. It is his plan to attend this Fall. Hurray for Jaron.

Colin has been playing keyboard for the school jazz band all year. He and another student share the responsibility. He enjoys the opportunity. He also plays the sax for concert band.
